Morning dad.

So I told dad he needed to get up and fix me some breakfast.

He ignored my demand.

And this is how I convinced him it was in his best interest to fulfil my request.

I sat on his big head with a very full diaper.

Happy Days

I have to thank Alisha and Holland for making me looks fabulous, and mom less homely than usual. Enjoy!

Picture Saturday

On a completely unrelated side note: I just dipped my bite size cantaloupe into potting soil and proceeded to eat it. Mom caught me, I got scared, threw my dirt cover snack on the floor and ran away. Being a kid is fun.

Dad is killing my social life.

We were at the park when two nice girls asked who wanted to be the King and Queen of the sandbox!

The following conversation took place...

Little girl (in Hungarian): If she eats this sand she will become the queen!

Dad: I don't believe you. I think you're an evil witch.

Mom: (Asks for a translation and dies of laughter.)

Me: (Face palm) Jesus Christ, dad! You're soooooo embarrassing! Now who am I going to go with to get my nails done at the mall!!!!

So dad and I played ALONE the rest of the day.

But then he bought me ice cream, so I love him again.

My favorite part of Nice!!!

Ma plage préférée!!

Back in Budapest...

...After a very LONG day.

Mainly for mom...I had a good time.

I'm going to give you a run down of our travels back...

1. I was semi tolerant of waking up at 5am and drinking my milk half asleep.
2. Mom felt horrible on the way to the airport and was actually worried she may not make it back to Budapest without passing out.
3. The lady at the check-in counter was unessarily rude and tried to take the stroller away from us for no good reason.
4. Mom politely explained that she could not carry my big butt for 4+ hours with two bags, and didn't mind using the elevators.
5. The lady started laughing and speaking in French to her colleague, thinking mom couldn't understand.
6. Mom called dad and had a mini meltdown in the airport, but she did manage to keep the stroller!
7. I was decently behaved from Nice to Zurich. (Mom needed a break at this point, so I cut her some slack.)
8. I literally waved to every single passenger as they were leaving the plane, with my classic "bye, bye" waving routine.
9. I played for two hours in Zurich before becoming overtired and throwing a screaming fit, which mom actually handled surprisingly well.
10. I slept for two hours, which mom claims was the best part of the entire trip there and back.
11. Mom bribed me with her cell phone and Swiss chocolate in order to quell my discomfort on the small airplane from Zurich to Budapest. You do what you have to do, my friends!
12. Mom had to change me twice on the flight, which consisted of us both having to fit in the smallest bathroom constructed on earth.
13. We arrived in Budapest and dad got stuck in traffic...
14. We ate.
15. Mom thought about crying, but didn't have the energy.
16. I slept through the night.

The end.

I'm pretty sure mom never wants to travel with me again...until she's lured by a very exotic destination.

Fog park.

Nice is by FAR the most fun place I've ever been in Europe! In the center of downtown there is this huge water fountain park for kids, and I definitely took advantage!
At first I was very hesitant to partake in the festivities, but dad was pretty convincing.

Later, dad! I'm off to make little French friends!
This morning mom took me back, and I had the place all to myself! The early bird gets the worm! I ran around for over an hour and screamed my head off with glee!

This was 30 seconds after I fell on my face! Nothing stops this girl!

We then went over to the flower market and I refused to take a normal picture for mom. She really gets annoying with her phone.

I'm just generally defiant these days...I literally say "nem, nem," like 25 times an hour.

After a busy morning, I'm currently in the midst of a roughly 2hr and 45min nap. Mom is currently starving and waiting for me to wake up!!!!
Nice try, mom! Taking flash photography is NOT going to convince me!! Buy me a puppy and we'll talk.

Bienvenue à Nice!

Mom was able to snap a few pictures on this flight because I was a dream child. She learned a valuable lesson in unpredictability.
I sat nicely in my seat for the 55 minute flight without a peep.
The weather is great, and the streets are loaded with dogs and pigeons (who I confuse to be ducks).
The beaches are packed!

I don't want to leave! Ever!!!!

God Bless Swiss Airlines

Dad sent mom on her first solo cross country today, and for a split second, she actually hoped that the plane would crash. Of the 1 hour 20 minute flight to Zurich, I cried for roughly 1 hour, 11 minutes and 56 seconds. You think I'm kidding!!!

Mom got her barings at the airport here in Switzerland, and then asked the gate attendant if he could block the seat next to ours. He told mom the best news she could have ever hoped for...we have the ENTIRE ROW to ourselves!!! Hallelujah!

Also, we met a super nice girl from Indiana who helped mom carry the stroller down the three flights of stairs we encountered. Another business man commented on how cute I was and not to worry about the screaming. "We've all been there!" I don't think he knows how much that meant to mom, who was close to tears at this point.

Thank goodness for nice people!!! Spread the love, folks! Mom vows to help someone who ever has a child and who is traveling alone.

Obviously I'd fall asleep 5 minutes before landing, which made debarquement slightly difficult for mom. I rule!
And we're off to Nice! Au revoir mes amies!

I love Italians.

Or more accurately, Hungarian-Italians that work at a specific Italian restaurant that I LOVE. I took a liking to ravioli lately, but mainly because I generally adore cheese and butter. After eating, the waitress let me ride a motorcycle around the restaurant and even raced me on a yellow one! It was so fun, and totally inappropriate for such a formal setting, but whatever, the place was empty.

Green suits me well, I think.

And today, I played in my tent and ate more cheese! Le Président is my fave! Getting ready for France!

Ketchup and FRENCH fries.

The last week has been quiet, per the usual. Meaning I destroyed the apartment.
Today we had a really fun day since dad was home, and it was HOT! Mom is beginning to wonder if there is any climate ANYWHERE that remotely compares to San Diego.
Fat chance, mom.

We drove around, went grocery shopping, went on the swings and visited dad's co-pilot who recently opened a hostel in Budapest. Then we ate a burger and fries! I love ketchup! Like, I would marry it if I could!
I now know how to dip.
Don't worry, mom and dad usually let me have one French fry after a healthy meal of broccoli and carrots. Scoff, scoff.

BUT the best news of the day is that dad got a four day job in my favorite city! Nice! Like Nice as in France! I think I was there once, but I was still in my mom's belly! Mom and I have to take a seperate flight to meet dad, but it's worth the solo attempt.

Yehaw! A bientôt, Nice!
