The parents told me we may be moving again...

...and this was my initial reaction.

Proof I love myself...

And how excited I am to see dad when he's been away for a few days!!!!
He seriously makes me laugh everyday!
He told a flying joke, and it was actually funny!
He asked me to sing, so I turned to my favorite, Guns n' Roses.
And then we lost our connection, and I was sad...

Selfie!

I seriously love seeing myself anywhere! Mirrors, pictures, phones, water reflections...

I have no shortage of self confidence!

I'm creative.

In the last week I have discovered a few new sleeping positions...
The couch crawl...

The animal house snore...

I was watching a reallllly boring show on tv.
And the cozy comforter cuddle...and yes, they were dirty. Don't judge me.

My iPad obsession.

I've had this weird obsession with iPads. I have taught myself how to unlock the home screen and scroll through pictures and proceed to name everyone in the pictures.

I also have been known to delete apps and send text messages.

Today, dad and I played a game he had no idea I downloaded last week. I have to be discreet because the parents never let me play with their phones or iPads if they are around. But I do make the most of the time I DO get.

Tomatoes

I literally threw a fit at the vegetable shop until dad bought me the tomato I was holding. He thought I was just going to play with it! I ate the WHOLE thing.

Also, summer is apparently over, which also leads to some interesting outfits these days.

Ikea Shenanigans!

So the only thing to do here in Budapest on a Sunday afternoon when everything is closed, is go to Ikea! Of course, mom and dad were starving by the time we got there, so we went straight to the cafeteria! Mom was surprised to see the menu, which included salmon! Mom and great-grandma Manou would go to Ikea and eat salmon in San Diego! God bless globalization!

We ate our hearts out and then went to go look at toddler beds! Apparently I may be getting evicted from my crib next year, which I think is sort of jerky, but whatever.
I jumped in with my shoes on (which is never allowed anywhere in Europe). Needless to say, I think I deserve a king size regular bed, but dad said absolutely no way. He's easily convinced, so I'm not worried.

The best thing that came out of our trip was that the apartment is now organized! Mom must be nesting or something.

Mom got beat up...by an 18 month old.

Yes, my dear friends, you read that correctly!

Mom and I went to the sandbox the other day, and while mom was minding her own business, a little girl (with less hair than myself) came up and tried to take her cell phone out of mom's bag. Innocent enough, right? When mom politely took it back and awkwardly said "nem, nem," she did it! She grabbed mom's ponytail and pulled her right off the curb on to the dirt. No good Samaritans came to mom's rescue, and to be honest, I think I saw a few parents laughing.

America-0, Hungary-1
I then went about my business, and spent the afternoon lounging and laughing with my friends.

Party Time!

Despite there being a little drama on this side of the pond, it hasn't stopped me from partying hard! This is Eastern Europe after all, I don't want to be an outcast!

A few days ago was my friend Emma's first birthday party! We had SO much fun! Not only did I get to snack on pizza and fruit, I got to eat the most amazing food to date...strawberry cupcakes!

It was weird though, Emma's aunt gave mom four cupcakes to take home and they all disappeared.

These are my new friends and I eating at the kids table! I ate about two bites before I decided I was bored and wanted to play with the mini kitchen.
I think I'm ready for high school.

Mom is lazzzzzy.

So these are a few pictures from the last week!
Eating with grandma and being silly.
Playing in my new outfit!
Hanging with dad. Can you tell who got me dressed? Pink polka dotted sweater, yellow/white pants that look like an old curtain, and purple running shoes.
Playing in the sand with dad, who seems to be distracted by birds.
Apparently summer only lasts about two weeks in Budapest. Awesome.
This is a blanket bag. It was grandma's idea and pretty darn cozy!
Having tea and crumpets with mom, also known as being a big, fat couch potato.
