Dad!!!

Make me dinner...
And this is what mom finds me eating! We rule, apu! Peanut butter is the best!!!

Go dad!

He made some Hungarian pea soup thing and it's awesome!!!! I ONLY eat homemade food, because restaurant stuff simply grosses me out.

And then I get yelled at for standing up in my chair!!!
It was also great-grandpa's birthday!! And guess what, I sang him Happy Birthday in English!

Two whole years!

Mom and dad gave shockingly reached the two year mark without a whole lot of effort! Minus the kid making thing...

I spent the day with the grandparents hanging out with horses and sheep, and mom and dad went and ate these...
They were apparently pretty good too, and a belated birthday gift for mom from great grandma. All in all, the day was a huge success and mom didn't go into labor.
Now, we sleep!

Um, mom, seriously?

I don't know how socially appropriate this picture is, but we have success!!! And I did it all on my own (but I guess that's obvious).
Mom is just really excited about the prospect of me being self potty trained (seriously, my parents have been useless teachers) before Pompom arrives. Five weeks and counting...

It's warm outside!!!

Mom finally went outside for the first time in four months...
We went to the park after she fulfilled my hair styling request.
Yes, mom is in fact as big and as scary as her shadow.
I had the whole place to myself, which is nice considering I didn't have to share anything with anyone.
And then I rested peacefully and watched the birds.
Today was so eventful that I didn't fall asleep until 4:30...meaning tonight, I party until 10!!! Who's down for a milk cocktail?

Mom conquered Budapest.

Literally.
That, friends, is a home made bean and cheese burrito, 100% from scratch. I even asked for "more," and said, "good," without coercion.

This is what happens when you move to a place that has zero Mexicans, and mom gets pregnant and desperate. All of this resulted after mom bought these bizarre beans at the LehĂ©l Market and cooked them in the crock pot for two days...because she had no CLUE what to actually do with them.

Boom!!

Update: Dad and I couldn't sleep due to our gas pains. Guess mom has to get revenge somehow!

An uneventful day...

Dad managed a semi presentable ponytail before he left for Munich this morning...which shocked both mom and I considerably.

Then, of course, after a night of zero sleep for mom, I opted out of my daily 2-3 hour nap (for only the third time in my ENTIRE life). You're welcome, mama!
I painted...myself mostly...
And lounged on the floor with my chocolate milk, while mom struggled to keep her eyes open past 2pm.

It's now 8:45pm and she's wide awake as I snore peacefully beside her.

Cheers!

Art day.

After visiting Dr. Barbi, the nice lady who delivered me after forcefully pulling me by my scrawny legs and introducing me to this crazy world, we went to the mall.

(Everything is great with my sister Pompom, just in case anyone cares.)

I slept while the parents ate in peace, and then we played in the water and looked at fish/bunnies.

I also painted grandpa a coffee cup for his birthday since he's obsessed with caffeine.
Then I discreetly got a hold of a pencil and decided to take my new artistic abilities to the apartment.

Donuts and inhalers.

Well mom had a pretty eventful birthday. She was gifted nine very sugary donuts by her new pregnant friends and then she was told she had asthma. Needless to say, she wanted a second opinion. After a hectic morning at the free state clinic, she was given the same prescription for two inhalers. Ugh. At least she still has a few donuts left.
I, on the other hand, had a fabulous day!

Battle of the sexes.

You can easily assume who won...
I'm also clearly the most stylish at the park. It's hard being me.

Off to college...

My parents bought me a new big girl bed because they are tired of getting assaulted at 3am by my big feet. Turns out a real person bed was cheaper (and the U.S. Dollar is ridiculously strong next to the sad Hungarian Forint), and the bed is multipurpose...like when people come to visit (which happens...NEVER) or when dad has bad gas.
Welcome to my dorm room! (Yes, my bed is basically a European queen size monster.)

Snow friends.

Since the parents opted to delay nursery until the plague has passed in Hungary, I spend more time having to create friends rather than socialize with real ones.
This is carrot. She's cool, but a little standoffish.
