About Us

We met ten years ago, at a really annoying bar in San Diego. I was actually dating a friend of his at the time...don't judge me...that's a very small example of the shenanigans that we're taking place when I was 22. The aforementioned friend, a French musician, kept telling me how I just HAD to meet this pilot guy from Hungary. I didn't think much of it, and a few weeks later, there we were. I wasn't particularly impressed after discovering he flew Cessnas (read: judgmental), because at the time I was more in to fighter pilots, and a small 4-seater tin can going 100 knots, didn't exactly blow my mind.

I remember fondly remember watching this pilot doing a somersault on the dance floor of a gay gothic club in North Park. I turned to the French guy and said, "Oh my GOD, I would be so embarrassed to be his girlfriend."

And here I am...

Despite his laughable tumbling skills and my judgmental assholeness, something felt different. It was if we had known each other from before...like old friends from a past life. We exchanged numbers, our friendship grew, I broke his heart repeatedly, and after some major soul searching, realized what I had been looking for was in front of me the whole time.  Even the French guy was shocked.

I wouldn't change our path or those experiences (together and apart) for anything in this world. I'm lucky, and I know it.

There are no two (now three) people I'd rather spend this lifetime with.
