A FULL Saturday...

Literally.
That's an aerial view of the living room, approximately 24 hours after we paid our cleaning lady 8,000ft to bring some order to our lives. Toddlers are the equivalent of an Category 5 hurricane.

Any who, we went swimming today at our friend's place. They have an elevator IN THEIR HOUSE...and an indoor heated pool. Life is rough here in the Bloc.
Pompom wasn't 100% thrilled...but I was even less cooperative, opting to get only two TOES wet. Thankfully, it gave mom a chance to annoy everyone with her new hobby...mainly snapping pictures of the dads in their speedos. The moms were happy to get pictures of their babies, so it was semi tolerable.
Pompom and I fell asleep in the car on the way home, and thwarted mom and apu's lunch plans...

So this is what ensued...

A rotisserie chicken from a FURNITURE STORE in the front seat of our borrowed car. Friends, we are living the posh life, trust me.

Seriously, this was dangerous between the chicken grease and pickles. Good thing we get to return it. I'm sure nagymama won't mind the chicken skin under her seat. It adds flavor.

And tomorrow, we meet our mixed nationality baby friends for Thanksgiving. The adults consist of three Americans, a Brit, an Aussie, an Italian, and four Hungarians (if you include dad, which most people don't)...whom we all blame for being here!

Mom is buying her "homemade" mashed potatoes from the corner restaurant...who was warned last week to buy extra potatoes! But don't tell...she's totally ok letting the other parents believe she's rocking motherhood! This is what mom is actually doing Sunday morning...chillin'! Not in the sink, but only because she doesn't fit.
But I'm sure Dad will spill the beans about the food after a glass of wine! He's known as the honorary mom in the group...meaning he gossips just as much as the rest of us moms.
